Inspired by Hy Cite Enterprises’ core values of relationships, connection, family and tenacity, Affinity emerges from the landscape of the Hy Cite campus as two flowing ribbons, joining and separating in a dynamic motion of harmony. As a viewer approaches and moves around the sculpture, it seems to dance and change form; from arch to figure 8 and back again. Three benches surrounding the piece provide a gathering and viewing space for the sculpture, while in-ground LED up-lighting give the piece a vital glow and bring warmth to the site at night, creating a beacon for drivers, employees and visitors approaching from all directions.
